Trevor Binyon

Trevor is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner (since 1997) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (since 1994). He is 52 and has worked full time in insolvency and restructuring for 25 years.
Trevor is a founding partner of Opus Restructuring, which was set up in April 2013. He joined Opus from RSM Tenon, where he worked for 11 years culminating as London Office Managing Director. Before that he was with Levy Gee for 5 years and BDO for 7 years.
Trevor’s work tends to have a strong secured lender led emphasis and he has extensive experience in the care home, construction and leisure sectors. He has also undertaken a number of complex assignments where the underlying cause of the failure was investment fraud of one kind or another, with high profile cases which have involved investors in fine wine and property.

Trevor is originally from Cheshire but has spent almost all of his working life in London. He lives in North London, and is married with 4 children. Trevor loves running (he completed the 2014 London marathon) – although, at 52, his legs are starting to complain! Other interests include road biking, golf, football (spectator only – Man United) and Rugby Union (Saracens). He is also becoming a very good taxi driver, as one of the 4 always needs dropping off somewhere!
